Training aids and photo's of sucsess

Holiday greetings

To start this off right i will say have a great Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. The time of year where it is proper etiquette to over eat has come upon us and as is family tradition for our family, i will comply. In fact i feel so confidante in my abilities, i will offer my training services this year to any who might not think they are quite up to speed on this. I will gladly come to your home and give a fully graphic demonstration of this fine art. I have trained many years and feel if there is one thing i can do without fixing a mistake or use wood putty, this is it. To any who might want this service this year, i will send a form with all the required dishes, the amount needed and a set time. I have a whole family available to assist me if needed or if your desired time is already taken, and we guarantee our work. However as far as December 25th is concerned, i have a new grandson who will require my expertise, his father who is fully capable to do most of it..but as this is Rykers first Christmas meal, i will be needed to confirm that all Putman eating techniques are passed down, and since green bean casserole is a family tradition, Ryker will be amused to see that his father and grandfather can look like the green beans went other places besides our mouths...we wouldn't want Ryker to feel out of place. So may the Holidays be filled with love and a time where families grow closer together, presents are nice, but just being together is better...weather it be over a phone or maybe a Internet web cam...love has no boundaries.....May the lord bless you all my dear family and friends...and know that you are all dear to me and i appreciate the times we have shared this past year..love to all..the grizzman

november is here

hello everyone, the grizzman has not disappeared, i had some better times for a couple of weeks, and was able to work on table i was making for my cousin, the project is done and when the time is right, i shall post the finished picture, i have sent it to some close family and friends, but will not publish it until my cousin has received it and seen it for herself, i will say the project turned out just grand, and my total joy will come when i can give it to her, she is at present dealing with the loss of one of her sons, any prayers on her behalf would be appreciated, her name is Cheryl evrard , as for me, right now I'm in a down mode, my health has stopped me in my physical tracks, however my spirit is up and I'm grateful to my father in heaven and his son the Christ for all that is allowed, for me, Ive learned that trails in life can be the greatest teacher...and are times of growth.....even though i don't like the pain or the in ability to work...it must be something i need, for i trust in god for my all, my faith sustains me, I'm so grateful for my family and dear friends, you know who are.i love you all and your love and kindness mean everything to me,i pray that the blessings of heaven are upon you and your families, its been some time since Ive been able to attend my church services, and once a month we are given opportunity to share our testimonies, and i need to let those most important to me know what makes me tick..more then anything else i love my father in heaven and his son the Christ, i love my family, they mean everything to me...at a young age i was blessed to know who i am and who we all are...we are not creatures born of a cosmic bang...or some creature that crawled from the sea....we are all sons and daughters of god...given this earth to gain things we needed for an eternal journey, and our families are the most important unit here and forever...of coarse this is my faith...my knowledge, and some do not feel as i do.....that is the agency god has given to us all...so we go forward and love and serve one another..and in a coming day...all will confess that Jesus is the Christ....we will stand before god and give an accounting of this agency..this is what and who i am...I'm striving to be the best i can be and judge none...and i hope and pray for the choicest blessings for us all...i seal my testimony in the name of Christ..amen.

turtle island

According to some, I've been way to slow in keeping this blog more updated, so ...but hey..in my own defense, when things are slow here..then reporting is going to be slow, but i did get out to the shop this last week and created a project....i needed a cutting board for when i make rolls or biscuits. so i made this one. Its 14 1/2 x 24 i was very pleased with it, there is a funny story here though, as i went to use it for the first time, i put the dough on the board and started to knead it , when all of a sudden the board broke in half. i thought i handled it pretty good by laughing, there i was..first time in its use...I'm all happy doing my dough on the new board and the thing just collapses down the middle, well it got set aside and i finished my biscuits on a small plastic one...so , come Monday , i will return it to the shop where it will be repaired.....so the saying goes...when your making good dough and things go wrong, just crack a smile. Here is the board before the crack.

lox and bagles

things have been kinda slow around here.....as most know i like to make some things with old wood , most of the time, well I've got a couple of projects I'm working on, but with the summer heat and my back problems, getting some time in the shop is not happening to often, so now to the lox and bagels, our good friends the maidls who live in eagle river Alaska, sent us a wonderful care package full of smoked salmon and some smoked halibut, we were into it within the first hour of getting it, oh man..it is wonderful, knowing it was coming, i also tried something i have never done , and that was to bake some home made bagels, they turned out great too, so i will post the proof and let you get a peak of how they turned out....
